I Will Sing: Ten Thousand Angels

March 7, 2016 by Heather Mitchell 1 Comment

Part of the I Will Sing series.

The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes.”

Isaiah 58:11-12 NLT

Ten Thousand Angels Lyrics

How long you have traveled in darkness weeping
No rest in language, no words to speak
But there in the wreckage beneath bricks and bindings
Love has come, love has come for you

Against the night sky of your waiting
Your face is like starlight when he walks in
Everything worth keeping comes through dying
Love has come, love has come for you

So lift up your heart now, to this unfolding
All that has been broken will be restored
Here runs deep waters for all who are thirsty
Love has come, love has come for you

Ten thousand angels will light your pathway
Until the day breaks fully in the East
They will surround you and make your way straight
Love has come, love has come for you
Love has come, love has come for you

Besides Caedmon’s Call being my favorite band of all time, this song rocks!

I love the line, “Love has come, love has come for you”.
Not only has our father’s love come but love came for me! you! us! we! each of us!

    Thanks for sharing this song
